We like to shake things up here at AwakenHub and keep challening ourselves to do better and be different. And as we all know the Zoomarooma isn’t going anywhere. So why not take an hour (and a bit) of your life to learn how to perform through the lens and build your confidence on (and off) camera by learning from one of Ireland’s greatest TV correspondents - Belfast born - Maxine Mawhinney.

Maxine is a well-known face to BBC TV and BBC World viewers, with more than 20 years’ experience as a live news anchor. Before that she was a TV correspondent in Ireland,Washington and Asia. She is a senior faculty member at the Karolinska Institute University Hospital, Stockholm and an all round amazing human to boot.

Based on her ‘Performing Through the Lens’ workshop Maxine will teach you how to talk to cameras and microphones in a professional way. She will pass on the tips and techniques that live presenters use and get the participants to practise them on your own material building confidence, competence and leaving you camera-ready.
