To get us started - how would you describe yourself in 6 words or less?
Partnership focused entrepreneur with a passion for innovation.
Describe your business and what prompted you to start it?
Our business is focused on simplifying digital advertising to help companies unlock growth through the power of AI. The inspiration for this venture stemmed from my co-founder's experience as a lead engineer at Google Ads. He observed that Google Ads, while incredibly powerful, isn't tailored for businesses with an ad spend of $100,000 or less per month. This realization was significant because it highlighted a major challenge: a staggering 97% of SMEs were discontinuing their Google Ads campaigns within the first six months of signing up due to the complexity and time-consuming nature of the platform. Recognizing this gap in the market, we decided to start our company to address the needs of these smaller businesses.
Our goal is to make digital advertising accessible, efficient, and effective for companies of all sizes, particularly SMEs who often struggle to navigate the complexities of online advertising. Through our AI-powered solutions, we aim to provide a user-friendly and streamlined experience, enabling businesses to thrive in the digital advertising landscape.
Tell us a little bit more about you?
I'm Ash, originally from Tipp but have been living in Dublin or elsewhere since 2008. My career path has been quite diverse, primarily centered around early-stage and scaling tech companies. Over the past decade, I've worn multiple hats in various startups, witnessing both the struggles of survival and the exhilaration of being part of unicorn ventures that raised over $150 million in funding. These contrasting experiences have been incredibly valuable, as they've shaped my decision to embrace the founder life. I've chosen the path of a founder because I want to create something unique, drawing upon all the lessons I've learned along the way. I'm motivated by people and the dynamic energy that surrounds me. Therefore, establishing a vibrant and productive company culture is one of my top priorities. My diverse experiences have equipped me with the skills and determination to tackle the challenges of entrepreneurship and innovation
Fill us in on your female founder journey.
My journey as a female founder has been a remarkable and transformative experience, even though it's just the beginning. I've been fortunate to encounter a wealth of support, guidance, and advice from individuals who have been incredibly helpful on this path. One of the most valuable aspects of my journey has been the opportunity to connect with and learn from other female founders in my network. Their insights and shared experiences have provided me with invaluable lessons and a sense of camaraderie. As I embark on the fundraising phase of my journey, I anticipate encountering both challenges and opportunities for growth. I'm aware that fundraising can be a demanding process, but I view it as a chance to further develop my skills, expand my network, and refine my business vision. Being a female founder means embracing the responsibility of paving the way for more women in entrepreneurship, breaking down barriers, and showing that gender should never be a hindrance to success. It's about seizing opportunities, learning from setbacks, and continuously striving to create a more inclusive and diverse startup ecosystem.

As a founder - what are your non-negotiables?
Whitney Wolfe Herd has been an inspiration for me, ever since I had the privilege of attending a Bumble Business event in London more than a decade ago. Her journey and the impact she has made in the tech industry have left an indelible mark on my entrepreneurial aspirations. In my role as a founder, I hold certain non-negotiable principles close to my heart. First and foremost, I firmly stand against dishonesty in any form. Integrity and transparency are paramount in building trust within my team and with our stakeholders. I believe in creating an environment where individuals take accountability for their actions and are empowered to learn and grow from their mistakes. This commitment to honesty and accountability forms the foundation of my leadership philosophy, ensuring that we cultivate a culture of trust, growth, and collaboration within our startup.
Where do you see yourself in 12 months and 5 years time?
12 months - growing a successful tech company. 5 years - starting a new company and investing/providing advice to other startups at the same stage I am at now.
What are your top three tips for other women founders?
I believe everyone should invest time in understanding your team, and uncover what motivates them. Adapting to their needs maximizes performance.
